Short Term Rental Accommodation Licences
The City of Kawartha Lakes has a by-law designed to ensure that Short-Term Rental Accommodations (STRs) are managed responsibly and enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community.
The by-law includes an updated process for registration, safety standards, and operational procedures. Our goal is to support you through process and ensure that you’re fully compliant with requirements.
Property owners who wish to rent, advertise or offer for lease their single detached dwelling for a period of less than 28 consecutive days, are required to register as a STR please use either of the links below to access our STR Business License Accommodation Application.
